Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 10 October 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of services by Twin Fin Studio (Bart Gotemans, sole trader) to clients. By engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
1. About Us
Twin Fin Studio is operated by Bart Gotemans (sole trader). Email: [email protected] | Phone: +32 470 825 165
Bart Gotemans, trading as Twin Fin Studio, Kleine Nieuwedijkstraat 64/002, 2800 Mechelen, Belgium. Enterprise number (KBO): BE 0872.060.484. VAT-exempt small enterprise (art. 56bis Belgian VAT Code).
2. Services
Twin Fin Studio provides AI automations, websites and SEO, Google Business Profile optimisation, and related digital services.
The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing for each project are agreed in writing (email or proposal) before work begins. No service is guaranteed to produce specific search rankings or business outcomes — see our Disclaimer for details.
3. Proposals & Agreements
A project begins when a written proposal or scope-of-work document has been accepted by the client. Verbal agreements are not binding.
Any changes to an agreed scope must be confirmed in writing and may affect timeline and pricing.
4. Payment
Payment terms are specified in each proposal or invoice. Standard terms:
• Projects over €500: 50% upfront, 50% on completion • Monthly services: invoiced at the start of each billing period • Payment is due within 14 days of invoice date
Late payments may result in work being paused. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue invoices in accordance with Belgian law.
All prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
5. Client Responsibilities
To enable timely delivery, the client agrees to:
• Provide necessary access (website, Google account, hosting, etc.) promptly • Respond to feedback requests within a reasonable timeframe (typically 5 business days) • Provide accurate information about their business and objectives
Delays caused by late client responses may affect delivery dates. Twin Fin Studio is not responsible for missed deadlines resulting from insufficient client cooperation.
6. Intellectual Property
Upon receipt of full payment, the client owns the final deliverables (website files, written content, etc.).
Twin Fin Studio retains the right to reference completed work in its portfolio and marketing materials unless the client requests confidentiality in writing.
Third-party software, plugins, fonts, and tools remain subject to their own licenses.
7. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any sensitive business information shared during the engagement. This includes business data, strategies, and unpublished content.
This obligation survives termination of the engagement.
8. Cancellation
Either party may cancel an ongoing project with 14 days' written notice.
Work completed up to the cancellation date will be invoiced at the agreed rate. Any upfront payment covers work already completed; unused portions may be refunded at Twin Fin Studio's discretion.
Monthly service agreements may be cancelled at the end of the current billing period.
9. Limitation of Liability
Twin Fin Studio's total liability for any claim related to a project shall not exceed the total fees paid for that project.
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including loss of revenue, rankings, or data.
SEO and digital marketing results are not guaranteed — search engine algorithms change, and outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Belgian courts, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always published on this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
